DeFloor is a family owned business based in northern Adelaide, operating since 2007.
We specialise in all types of floor removal including carpet, slate and ceramic tiles, vinyl flooring, grinding, glue removal and concrete polishing. Flooring removal can be a messy job, producing a lot of dust and sometimes even flying debris. When you use DeFloor you don’t have to worry about the mess, inconvenience or safety concerns. Our machinery makes the process quick and clean. We can provide protection where needed and our equipment is fitted with industrial vacuums for dust control. We organise the waste removal for you. Before new flooring is installed, the floor must be properly prepared. We have the experience to do this. We undertake all types of work from large commercial jobs to domestic. We specialise in quick efficient removal of flooring to minimise stress and down time. Our large range of equipment from small single phase grinders to large 3 phase grinders; small walk behind floor strippers up to ride on floor removal machines to ensure we can handle any size project.

Concrete Grinding
It’s important that your new flooring has a clean surface to be laid over. DeFloor has the right machinery to easily remove glue and grind concrete giving you a great base to lay your new flooring on.

What's involved in removing your floor?
The order of renovation work is important.
If you are having a new kitchen installed, remove the flooring prior to the new kitchen being fitted. Any painting should be done after the old flooring has been removed.
If the flooring is being updated then kickers and skirtings may need to be removed and protection used on cupboards.
All of these factors will be discussed at the time of quote.
